Tongue and Lip Tie Support -

During every private lactation consult your IBCLC will provide an oral evaluation & feeding assessment. Understanding that a visual inspection and a feeding assessment are best practice to help identify any possible areas of concern. Lactation Room collaborates with local preferred providers, should your baby need an oral evaluation by a specialist. We have wonderful working relationships with ENT’s, Dentists, Craniosacral Massage Therapists, Chiropractors, Speech Language Pathologists and Feeding Specialists in the DMV area to be able to support your baby’s feeding needs.

Our unique partnered approach is all encompassing with the emphasis on all education pre and post release.

You are encouraged to work with an IBCLC for a complete feeding assessment, post-op recovery, and breastfeeding/milk production plan.

Craniosacral Therapy $105.00

In-office CST with Beth Willis, OTR/L. Craniosacral therapy (CST) involves gentle manipulation of the craniosacral system, which can help alleviate a variety of health conditions by improving the functioning of the central nervous system. CST can support an improved range of motion, reduced pain or discomfort, enhanced mind-body connection, and balancing of the autonomic nervous system.

CST is a wonderful supportive therapy for infants who are experiencing painful gas, and feeding difficulties related to postural tensions, tongue or lip ties, torticollis, and more.

Parents can benefit from CST sessions pre- and postpartum to support their mobility and comfort and support their central nervous system during this transitional time.

Infrared Sauna Sessions $50.00

Research has shown that regular full-spectrum infrared sauna use improves cardiometabolic health, relieves chronic pain, Lyme disease and other toxin-related illnesses symptoms, and promotes central nervous system relaxation. Lactation Room has also curated an infrared sauna protocol to help reduce postpartum swelling and engorgement, which are common issues that occur after giving birth.

Each 30-minute appointment comes with complimentary coconut water or an electrolyte water drink before the session and a refreshing cool eucalyptus towel to use after your private sauna session.

It is important to Lactation Room that you have a clean and low-toxin environment to use while working on your health and wellness. Our Radiant Health Sauna boasts the lowest levels of EFM and VOC exposure on the market today.

See our different pricing and package options below:

  • Single Session: $50.00
  • 4 sessions: $175.00
  • 8 Sessions: $320.00
Flange Fittings -

This one-on-one session will allow you an opportunity to learn how to properly get sized for pumping. A flange that does not fit properly will decrease your milk production and also increase discomfort or cause damage. Working with one of our IBCLCs will allow a safe space to talk about all things pumping, comfort, and flange sizing and help create a customized plan to meet your specific needs. We recommend this service to anyone who is making milk for their baby. It is a must-do service that you won't regret!

There will also be an optional flange kit to rent after your session to use at home for 24 hours to ensure the size if correct and comfortable.
