Infant Massage Instruction Group Class -

Infant Massage Instruction classes are taught to give you confidence as a new parent and allow you to learn techniques to bond with your baby.  Babies who are massaged sleep better and rely on parents to help them in times of discomfort. These classes teach parents how to perform these massage techniques on their children.  Benefits of infant massage:

  • Connect with and calm your baby

  • Treat colic, gas, and other digestive issues

  • Help baby develop a sense of self

  • Boost baby’s immune system

  • Educate you about other therapies to help you and your baby in the coming months and years

The class also introduces essential oils that can be used to calm, soothe, and help your baby and includes samples of some of the oils as a free gift to you for participating.

The class itself takes about 45 minutes but allows time for diaper changes, feedings, and anything else families need to make the class calm and relaxing. Participants are asked to bring a pillow, a baby blanket, and your diaper bag!

Induction Massage -

Induction massage uses multiple modalities including massage, reflexology, and essential oils that work together to provide much needed relaxation and encourage the body to naturally begin the labor process.  Induction massage can often be effective within 24-72 hours but sometimes two sessions are necessary.  It is important to note that there is no "eject" button and this technique will only work if both the baby and the mother are ready.
